Cerion's nanoparticle combustion catalyst turns the diesel engine itself into a catalytic converter and extracts as useful power to the wheels, the energy content normally lost in the exhaust gas converter, simultaneously reducing harmful diesel particulate (soot) emissions. Our scientists feel the total reduction in fuel consumption could be as much as 10%, and that the decrease in greenhouse gas emissions could be as much as 20%.
